Karin Käär is the project manager of the Division of Mining and Mineral Technology of the Department of Geology at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) and is also responsible for coordinating the TalTech Circular Economy Core Lab.

The aim of the Core Lab is to help industry and wider society with the big challenges of the transition to a circular economy, which require technological innovation and synergy.

Karin has created and coordinated various green technology projects, supporting with her activities the increase in awareness of the need for mineral raw materials and their role in the transition to a sustainable society.
