    Dr. Cvelbar teaches postgraduate courses in Ljubljana and other Universities, both in Europe and outside the EU. As a researcher, he worked at CPAT Laboratories at the University of Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, at the University of Louisville, at the CSIRO and the University of Sydney.

     

    In recent years he has been working on electrical discharges, plasma phenomena, plasma for biomedical and biotechnological applications, plasma medicine, plasma nanotechnology, nanomaterials applications for sensing, and energy storage applications, atmospheric plasmas and their characterization.

     

    Dr. Cvelbar’s bibliography contains 200+ international scientific papers in high-impact journals, 100+ invited talks, 20+ patents and an h-index of 40+. He was and still is a Chief and Co-Chief Investigator on many MSZS (ARRS), the industry, and EU Framework projects, including H2020 Future and Emerging Technologies (FET-Open) program.
